Eric Holmes and the BRE Crew, along with other NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series competitors, are preparing to return to Irwindale Speedway, for the King Taco 200 on Wednesday, July 4th. Last year Eric ran side by side with Andrew Myers in the closest finish in NASCAR Grand National Division, West Series history at Irwindale Speedway. Eric lost the race to Andrews by .016 seconds but Eric went on to win the 2006 series championship.

This week’s event on the ½ mile oval begins with qualifying at 4:30 pm. Green flag racing for the King Taco 200 is at 8:00 pm.

This year’s race, which will be televised to a national audience live in high definition on HDNet, will be part of a special Fourth of July program at the Southern California speedway. In addition, SPEED is to provide an enhanced replay.
