Eric Holmes finishes fourth on the twisting Sonoma road course Saturday. He was the first non-cup driver to finish behind winner David Gillliand, followed by P. J. Jones, and Boris Said. Eric stated they pitted at different times and it made a difference.

Eric did lead the race on lap 28.

For Eric, it was another opportunity lost. This race at Infineon Raceway is No. 1 on his list to claim, but he was thwarted this year by slower cars in front of him and eight yellow flags. It was his fifth top ten finish and third in the top five at Infineon.

Eric’s next race in the Grand National West Series will be at Irwindale on July 4th.
