The NASCAR AutoZone Elite Division, Southwest and the Midwest Series run in the United Power/Touchtone Energy “150” in a combination race at Colorado National Speedway (3/8 mile) this Saturday August 19th. This is the seventh of nine events for the Southwest division and the second this year at Colorado National Speedway. Eric won the previous Colorado event in June, in the Southwest Series.

Qualifying will begin at 4:50 pm. The fastest 20 cars will advance to starting positions 1st thru 20th. A qualifying race is scheduled for 6:30 pm with the top six finishers advancing to starting positions 27th thru 32nd. Provisionals will be determining positions 21 thru 26.

The green flag is scheduled to wave at 8:30 pm. This schedule of course is subject to change, which could very well happen. The weather report states that Saturday will be mostly cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. Eric Holmes and the BRE Crew is hoping that the rain will hold off until the race is over, so that we and many other teams won’t have to make another long trip back to Colorado, when re-scheduled.
