Eric Holmes is a well-known competitor from California's Central Valley. He has raced in various NASCAR Weekly Racing Series throughout the Golden State. This second-generation driver will run a full-time schedule with the Featherlite Southwest Series & selected events in the SRL Wild West Shootout Series, as well as selected Winston West events in 2003.

In 33 starts with the Featherlite Southwest Series, beginning in 1995, Eric has amassed 3 wins and 12 top five finishes. Eric has 1 Bud Pole Award and looks forward to many more Poles and Wins.

This hands-on driver spent some time in 1992 and 1993 working with two Winston Cup teams, former Stockton 99 champ Ernie Irvan and four time Winston Cup Champion Jeff Gordon. Eric's familiarity with these heavier cars showed when he tried his hand in a Winston West car. His first start, at Mesa Marin, resulted in a 5th place finish after leading 90 laps during the race. In only one Winston West start in 2002, Eric finished 3rd in Roseburg, OR. In only 6 Winston West starts he has collected 2 top 5's and 3 top 10 finishes.
